Pension Administrator/Paraplanner

- My Role:
● I was employed at Wren Sterling as an administrator and moved from admin to paraplanning in February 2019 but still help within administration (training, assisting with queries from other admin).
● Suitability Report Writing for Pension Increase Exchange offers, Flexible Retirement offers in relation to DB schemes, fund switches (DC schemes), protection cases, redundancy recommendations.
● I am one of four paraplanners that look after over 20 "Projects" containing five FTSE 100 companies and their defined benefit schemes.
● Inbound & Outbound calls to scheme members, admin and policy providers
● Online Platform management - uploading applications and purchasing of shares/stocks - Fund Switches
● Collating information for IFA's pre-& post appointments
● Mail-merges & Letter writing
● WRF's creation/management
● As if & to be process design for full advice processes
● Internal process management and implementation (due to excel skills and drive to improve processes)
● Fire Warden
● Excellent KPI's - Quarterly target is 90 points. I have achieved over 600 points over the last three quarters (financial year 18/19) with a 96% compliance pass rate. This is one of the highest in the company.

● CAPB has no high street stores which had meant that everything is done in house in Sheffield, over the phone. A regular day can vary from transferring money In Euros, dollars or sterling from business or personal accounts to updating client details or answering general queries.
● I dealt with specialised accounts such as trusts and pensions. This meant that it was imperative to be able to handle conversations with IFAs and pension practitioners who required information regarding their clients' accounts or investments.
● The largest clients at cater Allen, are the business accounts. As this company is owned by Santander, many customers are referred to CAPB for these accounts. This has enabled me to process many payments to HMRC and become more knowledgeable within this sector.
● Another important aspect of this job was to be very up to date with data protection procedures and ensure customer satisfaction was of the best quality.
