I am a hard-working, passionate, 'old school' Senior Art Director and creative director.
'Old School' meaning I know and love my craft, having worked with many inspirational and talented photographers, directors, typographers and designers over the years.
I am good with clients and developed strong relationships with the majority of the brands that we have worked on, which has led in turn to them trusting our creative judgment and to us developing better work as a result.
I am part of a team with my copywriter of over twenty five years, Dave Cornmell.
We've been far from idle over the years, having turned our hand to big, populist ideas for a vast and varied array of brands and clients - Honda; Branston Pickle; Sky; B&Q; Churchill Insurance; MINI; BMW; 118 118 (yes, we're that old!) to name a few.
Most recently we were creative directors at mcgarrybowen, overseeing work on Branston Pickle; Sarsons; Toblerone; Tassimo; Fujitsu, and working as a team on Honda and Western Union.

My first job in advertising came a year after officially leaving Watford College.
We unofficially left college at the end of our first term, hitting the ground running with placements in GGT, Saatchi & Saatchi and O&M.
Post college we were at Rainey Kelly for a number of months and then DMB&B before finally being hired at Leagas Shafron under the guidance of creative director Keith Courtney.
We had a busy 12 months, making ads for Friends of the Earth, the Inland Revenue and Heals, as well as winning a pitch for Joe Bloggs Jeans, but then unfortunately the company went into liquidation.
