Achievements and responsibilities:
• Toshiba Europe: Creation of brand proposition, communications, campaign and collateral for lucrative omni-channel retail sell-in and quarterly consumer brand and range launches. As the EMEA communications lead, I assumed responsibility for the IFA 2017 and 2018 press conferences, which were attended by over 150 international journalists, as well as the top key retail accounts.
• Responsibilities included the creation of the international press kit and press conference content and assets, leveraging my network of journalist contacts to achieve over £750,000 worth of coverage in 2018 in key markets, such as the UK, Germany, France, Italy, and Poland. UK media included Mail Online, TechRadar, What HiFi, Pocket-lint, Cnet and The Gadget Show.
• Accelerated target growth in the first two years of trading, with Toshiba rapidly accumulating enough market share to become one of the top 4 TV brands in the UK, according to GFK data (2019).

As the EMEA communications lead, responsibilities included the creation of the international press kits and press conferences for IFA 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018, and LivingKitchen 2019. • Forged a 3rd party partnership with Reckitt Benckiser (Q1, 2019), and raised the profile of the brand with an on-pack promotional campaign, which resulted in a 10% uplift in sales across the UK and France, with most of the uplift reported in harder-to-sell, full-size and compact built-in dishwasher categories.
• Corporate communications strategy.
Through the creation of an EMEA-wide corporate communications strategy, the Vestel corporate narrative was updated, and this OEM manufacturer re-positioned as a multi-brand CE giant with an enviable, high profile reputation that can attract and retain the best talent and business partners, including Amazon, Dolby and Intel.
