Polyvine Ltd is a manufacturing business that produces innovative and high-performing products such as paint, varnish and specialist decorative effects. One of the key projects I was involved with was to introduce a new CRM system. I was involved with rebuilding the CRM system to make Polyvine more efficient by having more client data (GDPR consent), create office reports such as sales, financials and stock levels.
My role as the Sales Office Manager was to oversee the day to day running of the office and sales teams to ensure all duties were carried out efficiently and effectively.
These duties included:
• Sales, customer service, assisting external sales managers, training of staff and taking payment of any credit card orders.
● Assisting external sales managers with financial and product reports - Including clients gains and losses finding a reason and solution to assist them meet the targets.
● Monthly financial reports for the directors which included Sales - targets met/failed - reviewing if external sales managers KPIs were met and produced reports on how to assist them in meeting these targets if they failed.
● Monthly financial sales figures and products purchased for our key clients.
● Involved with arranging national and international logistics for our clients orders. This would usually be via a courier firm but did include air travel and sea travel.

Wales and West Utilities has three divisions Gas Leak - Gas Installation, new builds and Renewal. I worked with the renewal division.
The main contract was to renew 35k of gas pipes over a 30 year contract replacing old pipes for new plastic ones, which will stop gas leaks and provide safety for the underground network. Each renewal became necessary after leakage gangs identified and prioritised which locations were urgent.

Bristol Water PLC have several departments and I worked in the leakage department answering customer calls, reporting water leaks, entering all data into Sage. This was so we could generate a job to send to the leakage inspector, once the leak was located grid coordinates would be entered into the Sage and mapping systems, all details of main size and pressure.
