Senior Designer
Candy Mechanics.
Candy Mechanics is a tech based confectionery start-up based in London. I joined the company in November 2017 to lead a rebrand and help with seasonal/general day to day design requirements.
Responsibilities included: Attending and presenting at senior management and director meetings, creation of
printed and digital assets, leading initial concepting, design development, and implementation of new brand
guidelines, art direction of all photography & videography for all arms of business, working with marketing director
to develop seasonal campaigns, liaising with suppliers & printers, sending all artwork to print and managing the process thereafter, creatively working within budget restraints, effectively managing my time, sourcing creative
talent, briefing and managing juniors, interns & freelancers.
The CM rebrand included: Creation of new brand guidelines, new packaging solutions, website redesign, design
of physical retail unit, kit of assets to be used by the head office team, new brand photography; product and
promotional for both the commerce and events/gifting arms of the business and leading creation of events and corporate gifting brochures.
A highlight of my time at candy mechanics: Successfully working collaboratively with Godiva UK team in the creation of 'Godiva x Candy Mechanics'. This project involved creation of brand, range of packaging, organisation and art

Working within a small design team at Goldman Sachs my time was split between two divisions:
Investment banking and Events.
Investment banking: Working with different teams of bankers based in London and globally on the creation of pitch books/FMPs that encapsulate the clients brand and also GS. A big part of the role was being able to work
simultaneously on a number of projects from a wide breadth of industries; From fashion and beauty to tech
and financial services. The creation of client style pitch books: Powerpoint templates, custom cover pages with accompanying section pages and infographics. Designing branded boxes to house the printed books. Finding ways to display content heavy corporate ideas/figures in a creative and engaging way.
Events: Working with the in-house events team to create collateral such as: Invitations (print & digital), signage,
posters, large format banners, gift bags/tags, creation of print-ready artwork for both the in-house production
department and external printers.

Based in chalk farm, London. During my time there I worked on a number of branding and packaging projects from concept to completion.
Being a smaller studio With a range of clients from small start ups to bigger brands meant a flexible and adaptable
approach was key. Whilst working with bigger brands can be exciting, I find that working with smaller budgets
encourages imagination and inventiveness.
Role Included: Branding, Packaging design, Illustration, Photography, Creation of template based website, Content
management, Social Media asset creation, artworking files for both web and print, managing the print process,
liaising with clients, Image research and Art Direction.
