I was asked to join the BMB Production team in 2016 assisting in TV, Online and Radio production. Throughout that time, I worked on projects for Dairylea, Rowse, KA Drinks, Hula Hoops, Batiste and CALM. Duties included hiring, overseeing and managing above the line talent and helping to find the best creative solutions for each brief. I also organised and over-saw post-production sessions and managed all aspects of project administration.
• In late 2016, I was also given the additional responsibility of managing BMB's first internal Shooter-Director, whoI worked alongside, running BMB's first in-house studio for internal content stills and video shoots. I took care of our project schedules, shoot budgets and co-ordinated with the account teams on time plans and feedback/delivery dates. I very much enjoyed collaborating creatively with him, to create striking content shoots, agency case studies and award entry videos for small budgets, over the next two years.
ADVERTISING ASIDE
During summer 2018, I co-produced an independent short film which we shot over three days. I was relied on by our director to help source and secure locations, set designers, and talent and liaised with our financial backers to ensure smooth running of our 13k budget. I assisted with the daily shooting schedules and permits and organised contracts and payment for cast and crew.
It was a wonderful experience and we were lucky enough to be selected for the BAFTA recognized, Aesthetica Short Film Festival. Please take a look at the film here; https://vimeo.com/301729719
