I have over 10 years’ experience within accounting and finance in large and medium size international companies, such as Siemens, KPMG, EY, CapMan and Pelican.
At CapMan and Pelican, the latest two jobs, I worked overseeing accounting, financial control, and financial reporting for legal entities in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Luxemburg, including group level consolidation. I have strong experience with day-to day bookkeeping, month closing, VAT, acquisition accounting, compliance to local GAAP and IFRS. I worked hands on with consolidations, both in excel and ERP Microsoft dynamics 365, during the last four years.
Both at CapMan and Pelican I simultaneously managed 3-4 services providers within Nordics and provided instructions regarding bookkeeping and reporting processes.
During the last four years, I lead audit processes and ensured adjustment free audit results. In Pelican, during 2019, I played a major role in insourcing of accounting and consolidation function and completed year end audit without any remarks. This was achieved despite simultaneous implementation of two significant projects during the same year: a new accounting system Microsoft Dynamic 365 and insourcing of accounting function from an external set-up. This required a bold and structured approach to achieve this.
