with 30 years experience in television news across a wide variety of roles and with different outlets. The majority of time has been spent covering international news with a specialisation in the Mid East. For the last 15 years I have been a reporter, first with ABC News as its Middle East Correspondent and more recently with Al Jazeera and TRT World in London. I now also present and host when the need requires.
I still love to communicate the complexities of a great story in a compelling and exciting way. I enjoy all aspects of story telling from research, set up, interviewing, filming with crews to writing and editing. I am a confident live reporter with a lot of experience in a lot of different settings. I am a good team player.

I covered the election and inauguration of Donald Trump from Washington. My focus in recent years has been Brexit, European politics and economy, populism, migration and terrorism.
