I firmly believe that simple and rational forms can create elegant solutions to difficult problems. Empathetic research and observation allow me to develop ideas to create marketable products. Whilst I am essentially a user-centred designer my recent professional experience has allowed me to develop creatively to become a high-end premium product designer. I have the skills to communicate ideas simply and effectively. I enjoy the design process and my ability to sketch ideas quickly and concisely, together with model making and prototyping, are integral to this; I am particularly valued as a visualiser, and am able to create photo-real visuals quickly and to a very high standard.

I have worked extensively in multi-disciplinary teams, from branding and concept through to material choice and manufac- ture of premium consumer products. I have collaborated with graphic designers and engineers in order to evolve prototypes and realise my designs. I have an extensive knowledge of glass manufacture and have built good relationships with glass manufacturers in Europe. I also have connections in Hong Kong for the Chinese manufacturing industry.

My work has been featured in Dezeen, Core 77, Wired, GOOD, Wallpaper* and on many websites and magazines worldwide. I have exhibited in Shanghai, Beijing, Tokyo and the UK.
