Managed BCM controls via EMEA BCM organisation of 30+, through direct engagement and matrix
management: Initially circa 700 Business activities, 500 departmental plans and 30 crisis plans.
Developed core EMEA BCM function, defining objectives (in line with ISO22301), increasing skill level
and reducing the size of the central team from 7 to 5 to reflect rationalised model and better use of
'1st line of defence' resource.
Lead crisis scenarios in region for both Group MD and local crisis teams, particularly cyber and terror.
Rationalised the regional crisis management structure, and provided support to EMEA COO and UK
COO in the event of crisis.
Participating member of Group Managing Director led UK and EMEA Operating Committees.
Key Program: Increasing efficiency of recovery. Transformed business recovery approach, saving
business circa £ 1.2m/anum in recovery seating costs.
