At the start of 2020, The Body Shop started the process of moving to Amplience as their CMS with rollout for UK set for July 2020, with top tier markets following for the rest of 2020.
Amplience represented a significant departure from the previous, rigid CMS and my role was to enable a smooth transition for the studio production team by:
• Working closely with The Body Shop Product and UX teams to review all documentation regarding editorial content modules and their intended use
• Review all supplied Sketch templates against the documentation to ensure they were consistent and matched the build specs
• Produce PSD templates for the studio team
• Support the studio team for rollout and provide guidelines on template usage
• Act as the technical point of reference between the product owner, digital marketing teams and the studio
• Make recommendations on implementation and where improvements can be found
• Support with UAT as new modules are released and fixes implemented
Once rollout was complete I then ran a detailed Discovery process to examine & understand the full extent of the Amplience components, collating all options available to the design and content creation teams, produced & presented a detailed 50 page PDF to act as a user guide for the Wellcom studio and Body Shop creative teams.
I continue to:
• Own the display advertising build and delivery process
