I spent 8 months working on the creation of shared front-end framework, based on Bootstrap 3, for the responsive redesign of all the FSCS web presences, www.fscs.org.uk and claims.fscs.org.uk. I defined the integration with the various back-end technology stacks which included modernising their front-end stack, the build pipeline, using NodeJS and Webpack, and all associated processes.
I updated their back-end stacks to the latest versions of the .Net Framework and EPiServer and moved their code bases to the git VCS. I also worked on the processes surrounding code management when working with a distributed version control system including the code-review process and merging strategy.
As part of a larger organisational effort, I worked with various stakeholders on implementing and improving the use of agile methodologies and its' associated processes within the web development team and product owners.

I spent 20 months as a Web Developer working on projects for various of their customer facing websites and various back-end systems.
I first worked on maintenance and enhancement of their main web presence at www.fscs.org.uk and the consumer oriented protected.fscs.org.uk website both which are built on the EPiServer CMS. This included creating new CMS-able components and integrating with a 3rd party mailing system for newsletter subscription management.
I then moved to the team working on their consumer claims portal, claims.fscs.org.uk, initially working on the core functionality of the system before go-live and on an intranet reporting system using AngularJS. In my final three months working on the integration project to use EPiServer CMS for relevant areas of the system where it was desirable to have CMS-able content.

job
Senior Developer
ChameleonNet/Chameleon/WPNChameleon.
I was a developer at the digital agency WPNChameleon working mainly with CMS systems and e-commerce integration using C#/ASP.NET (both WebForms and MVC), JavaScript, SQL Server and a wide range of payment systems including Google Checkout, NetBanx, PayPal, SagePay and WorldPay.
My first project was the BigBusTours.com website, a worldwide open-top bus tour company. The site started serving a single city, London, but rapidly expanded to serve multiple cities across the world in various languages. I worked on the CMS implementation, using the in-house ChameleonNet CMS, on various aspects of the ticket management functionality, account management and back office implementation for the site including reporting. Over the years I worked on the payment provider implementation using various 3rd-party payment platforms. As the site grew, I later worked on integrating the site into the Akamai CDN to improve worldwide performance and scalability.
I was then one of the main developers on the 3rd Party Integration Platform for Random House Books, a sales and distribution platform that third-party publishers could integrate into the websites. The system consisted of both an API, based on ASP.NET Webservices, and a front-end, based on ASP.NET WebForms. The third-party publishers could choose their level of integration with the system and only use the components they required. We build picador.com using this platform and I did the integration work. I later served as the Senior Developer on the Key Client Team for the client working on the maintenance and enhancement of both the 3rd Party Platform, the main randomhouse.co.uk website and the main back-end platform.
I was the lead developer on various other websites including the-logic-group.com, HayHouse.co.uk and voiceregister.com and worked on the donation portals for Unicef.org.uk, including a bespoke version of the site used during the SoccerAid event, Barts & the London Charity, The British Library and Norwood.org.uk.
I also worked on code maintenance of various other websites that are maintained by WPNChameleon.
