I’m offering
I love to create products is what most designers say. I love to create product experiences, I love the granular detail in making something feed back to a user, a micro interaction, a simplified flow, the coloured tint detail in a button, a conscious effort to understand what the user actually wants to achieve and then providing them with the means to do it.

Senior Visual, UI & UX Designer
Gogobot, Inc.
My role required me to create designs for our users across web and mobile. I would work agile with the product team outlining goals for each of the new designs, prototype them, test them with users and work closely with our dev teams to implement if results where positive. I eventually lead the redesign of the Gogobot app, creating new features to help our users experience the best of what Gogobot had to offer. When the app was released, it was featured in the Apple App Store. Upon porting to Android, it was featured on the Google Play Store and has been featured numerous times since on both stores and in multiple territories. In December of 2014 Gogobot received $20m in Series D investment and in 2017 Gogobot joined Skyscanner.

I had the great opportunity to work on a Samsung Galaxy Tab application. It was a great privilege as we were working with an early pre-release build of the hardware and a very early version of Android. My role was to create a 3D set of flat maps for the BBC Living Earth application. While there I also worked on the 4-3-2-1 initial concepts for iPad on behalf of Universal.

BBC.
UKTV required me to work on the visualisation of one of their re-branded channels websites. I was asked to come up with a design that represented their new look and feel using all their new brand assets but to work within the confines of their old web build framework. Not a simple task but working closely with their development team made it easy to understand what was and wasn't possible.

The App Business.
The App Business required me to work with them on the visualisation and conceptualisation of iPhone applications. My first application iBBQ was for the English Beef and Lamb Association and spent over a week as the number one app in the free lifestyle downloads section of iTunes and built up a worthy download haul, over 200,000 downloads within the first 6 weeks. I think summer had something to do with that. After the success of iBBQ I worked on concepts and initial designs for Landshare for River Cottage and Harrods, both for the iPhone and visuals for The TV Book Club and Topshop for iPad.
