Hometree is a start-up disrupting the £2.5b boiler industry by making the process of
choosing the right boiler for your property and installation using the latest technology to such as WhatsApp and Facetime for the installation survey so the installer has no
surprises when arriving. The work I've been doing is to build the online journey
customers users to help filter the best boiler for their homes and to book an
appointment for an online Survey, along with building the new Engineers App both of which use the latest technologies such as Polymer JS, ReactJS and Serverless
platform. The engineers platform was built in React which allocates jobs to engineers and provides all the required information needed to complete the job eg. Job spec,
video recordings of survey, order details etc. Additional parts of the work I took on was the upgrade of the Gulp builds, getting the build times from approx 30 secs to on
average 4-6 seconds and the POC of a Facebook chatbot.
