Adobe Campaign Developer
SAMSUNG SDS.
responsible for furthering Samsung's Adobe Campaign
capabilities and bringing Adobe Campaign Operations in house. Often my role required supporting and upskilling the new operations team, whilst balancing project work.
Some of the most notable projects have been listed below:
Call Centre API - Lead Developer
The Central Promotions European Call Centre team required the ability to view and resend promotion messages
sent through Message Centre. This was made possible by sharing the mirror page URLs and developing a custom
API which received the message's id from the Call Centre System, before looking up the variables and using
them to trigger a Message Centre message.
Languages: JavaScript, XML, WSDL, SOAP
Modules: API, Message Centre, Technical Workflows, Data Schemas
Miscellaneous deliverables: Requirements doc, test scripts, user manual, technical manual, demo, handover
Home Installer Web App - Lead Developer
Samsung's Benelux subsidiary required the ability to have their technicians register customer's products when
onsite. The project required Adobe Campaign to manage the email address confirmation (via Message Centre),
product registration through an external system (calling APIs) and an autocomplete element which uses
dynamically read in products (through JavaScript DOM). In addition to calling APIs, creating the required Web
Apps, Message Centre Templates and Technical Workflows. I first had to scope, estimate and produce an SOW.
Languages: JavaScript, Dynamic Object Modelling, XML, JSON, HTML, CSS
Modules: Web Apps, Rest APIs, Message Centre, Technical Workflows, Data Schemas, Input form, Navigational
Hierarchy
Miscellaneous deliverables: SOW, user manual, technical manual, demo, handover
Track Status changes - Lead Developer
As there were many different processes which updated the customer's statuses, Samsung required a way to track any changes to the customers opt in statuses. For this reason, a new API was created and called from any
activity which was used to update customer's (Recipient's or Visitor's) opt in status
Languages: JavaScript, XML
Modules: Technical Workflows, Data Schemas
Miscellaneous deliverables: User manual, Technical manual, demo

2014 - 2018
job
Head of Technical Delivery
TAP London.
As Head of Technical Delivery, responsible for all technical solutions created by TAP London. I often took the position of Lead Consultant or Lead Technical Implementer on projects. Having such a great relationship with Adobe, often meant working with Adobe directly on Adobe's projects/with Adobe's clients as the Adobe
Technical Lead. These projects often involved; scoping and configuration of Adobe Campaign (Data Schemas, Technical Workflows, Message Centre, etc.), integrating with other systems (ETL processes, APIs) and training.
Some of these projects have been explored in greater detail below:
TV Selector - Lead Developer
Virgin Australia required a way to have their register interest page (which was not hosted in Adobe Campaign), to trigger a near real-time message along with saving the entry for a future prize draw. To solve this, a new API
was created in Adobe Campaign (using Object Orientated JavaScript), which managed the triggering of a message through Message Centre, along with the save process for later prize draws.
Languages: JavaScript, XML, WSDL, SOAP, Data Schemas
Modules: API, Message Centre
Miscellaneous deliverables: technical manual, demo, training, handover
Customer Call Service solution - Lead Developer
Whilst subcontract for Viridian, a requirement for allowing the Call Centre team accurately propose the next
best offer to customers whose energy contracts were due to expire. The solution would have to allow the Call
Centre rep to provide the customer with the best offer based on the customer's usage, propensity to change
provider, as well as a host of other metrics. To fulfil this requirement, a solution was built which leveraged key
metrics loaded from Viridian's Adobe Analytics platform, Outbound Interaction (using email) and Inbound
Interaction (using Web Apps). When a customer clicked on the above-mentioned email, he/she would
automatically be shown the best offer based on their personal information held in Adobe Campaign.
Alternatively, if a Call Centre Rep went to the page, he/she had the option to lookup the customer and see a list of the top 5 offers. With both web apps, clicking through on accept, meant that it triggered the process of renewing the customer's contract under the new agreed tariffs.
Languages: JavaScript DOM, HTML, CSS
Modules: Web Apps, Offer Management
Miscellaneous deliverables: technical manual, demo, training, handover
