• All raw materials for production, incl. Commodities (Copper. Tin, etc), additives (chemicals, lubricants) and refractory products.

Achievements
• Savings have been achieved by standardization, consolidation, consignment stock, vendor managed inventory, increased credit terms and closer liaison with suppliers, including working with key suppliers to achieve savings.
• This meant savings reaching well into 6 figures, and the creation of increased cash flow in excess of £2,000,000.
• Additional savings have also been managed by changing purchase specifications and hence work methods, also the purchase of pre-processed materials.
• Core involvement in computerisation of old paper system, involved in order and supplier validation, negotiation and contract management, member of H&S committee, trained internal auditor to TS standard.
