I'm offering
Designing creative solutions, solving complex problems and planning change into reality: my mission is to design high-performing, sustainable businesses with purpose.
_______________________________________________________
I've work with Fortune 500 and global companies, as well as start-ups at the intersection of corporate strategy, sustainable business design and innovation; I thrive within complex challenges and environments of high-uncertainty or ambiguity.
My approach brings together design thinking-led strategy and quantitative analysis and rigor to accelerate success. I work with, and within, companies across multiple altitudes; from solving immediately critical roadblocks, to planning and goal setting on 1-3 year time frames, and visioning - creating a 'compass' - for 10+ year horizons
My favourite work is with ambitious, purpose-led companies - integrating sustainability goals with core company values and economically attractive strategy.
I have over 10 years experience, establishing and working with some incredible, multidisciplinary teams
- Advising and aligning senior leadership teams at VP/C-suite/Board level
- Uncovering and capitalising on opportunities for new value creation or optimisation
- Solving complex business/systems problems, including circular design, operations, process, organisation and ecosystem design
- Establishing innovation programs and growing innovation capability
- Vision definition and road-mapping toward ambitious goals for success, including 10+ year future foresight
- Managing research and analysis; from explorative qualitative to quantitative analysis and metrics model
- Advising and aligning senior leadership teams at VP/C-suite/Board level
- Strategic planning toward effective implementation, especially translating global strategy into local or fields executions

STRATEGIC ADVISORY & PRO-BONO.
Currently takin on a mix of pro-bono and volunteer work, alongside consulting for corporate, for profit and start-up ventures.
Currently:
● Alaska Innovation Summit 2020. working with Juneau Economic Development Council in building out the
'Sustainability and Climate Change' stream; linking how 'better for the world' is also better for business.
A few other things I've been working on, and attending:
● Market sizing & market entry. working with an AI tech company with a hybrid non-profit/profit business
model to analyse market size and economic drivers, to inform growth strategy and market entry.
● Development in Nicaragua after last year's revolt, tourism has been decimated leaving a lot of local
people without stable or adequate income. I helped out with some initiatives to increase local income
resilience.
Green.org launched June 2019, helping this very new sustainability start-up begin with the right
foundations, we had consultations to focus the vision and prioritising activities.
● Blockchain for Climate Change through a workshop and design sprint, working with Yale's Innovation
OpenLab to provide a business perspective to this primarily academic and policy based group.
● UN Summit on Climate Change & Climate Change week: I attended a series of events at the UN and with partners through the week in NYC on themes related to climate change, sustainability, social impact,
market-based and nature based solutions. An incredibly inspiring and enriching week!

FOUNDER
Digital Ninja Consulting.
Part-time (~25hrs). Exited 2014, business acquired and integrated into an agency.
After taking on side projects by request through my network, the work grew by word-of-mouth to more than I
could handle alone, in my spare time - so I accidentally started a consultancy. We worked primarily with either
seed-stage technology start-ups or established corporates in New Zealand, and a couple of global clients.
● Start-ups: defining clear positioning, lean strategy development, GTM and commercialisation, and engaging corporate or investor relationships.
● Corporate companie: 1:1 executive support or strategic advisory relating specifically to data, insight
and experience strategy development, digital production and digital capability building/education.

I joined shortly as the company was purchased by a Private Equity firm. I had the incredible experience of being a

approach and data and insight infrastructure, working cross-functionally and with multiple external partners to align priorities and workflows.
● Established digitisation roadmap and first data & insight strategy. Within six months of implementation, ROI increased >28%.
Strategic (re)positioning & targeting: EBITDA profit increased 15% over budget, decreased sales costs.

>11% (from -3% MoM) and website traffic by 150%, as well as increasing NPS from +15 to +65.
● Digital product innovation - mobile app for Trade Card product.
