I have been working as a medical writer since 2004 in pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies in Denmark, including Novo Nordisk, Genmab, Ferring Pharmaceuticals, and Leo Pharma. Since 2013, I have worked as a freelance medical writer, and during this period of my career I have worked with other companies as well.

During my career as a medical writer I have obtained extensive experience with planning and reporting clinical data to the health authorities world-wide. My document experience includes clinical trial protocols, clinical trial reports, clinical summaries and overviews, paediatric investigational plans, meeting packages and response to the health authorities, slide decks for scientific presentations, investigator's brochures and safety regulatory documents, as well as scientific publications, abstracts and posters.

I have worked with a broad range of therapy areas, including oncology, diabetes, obesity, haemophilia, growth hormones, reproductive health hormones and skin diseases.
I have profound project management experience by planning, driving and coordinating the work related to the above-mentioned tasks and documents in a cross-disciplinary setting, thereby taking a lead role in this context.

My educational background includes a Master Degree in environmental chemistry and a Phd within human nutrition. Through my educational background, my work as assistant professor at the University of Copenhagen and my work as a medical writer in the industry, I obtained in-depth knowledge and experience with scientific research methods and scientific communication as well as project management experience, and my own research results has been published in high-ranking journals.
