IT professional with 9 years of IT experience in the field of networking, telecommunications, and Tier 1 and 2 Support. My strong work ethic drives me to overcome whatever challenges may come my way and am aspiring to become a Network Engineer. During my time at SMBC, Cahill, Columbia University, SUNY Albany, and Apogee, I have learned that collaboration and communication are as much part of the job as knowledge in network procedures and hardware systems. I have also gained extensive experience in many networking concepts and principals as well as hands-on experience in CATV and data center infrastructure, Cisco and Dell switches, fiber-optic networks, Cisco and Aruba wireless access points, network management, Polycom VOIP phones, and IBM Rolm systems. While working at Cahill and SMBC, I have developed my skills and knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve application and OS issues in Windows 7 and Windows 10 environments simultaneously. I have learned to interact with Active Directory and SCCM systems to remotely access desktop machines and solve these application issues for 300+ lawyers and staff in a very fast-paced time frame. These experiences have helped me to develop strong communication skills, interacting regularly with clients, students, and professional staff. While working with customers and department clients; I have also demonstrated keen problem solving and network troubleshooting skills. I am a motivated, organized and well focused professional who aspires to work in the field of Networking and Network Management.
