I'm working on kickstarting a freelance career in translation since I will be moving to Argentina next Summer and working online seems like the best option.



A little bit about me:

I'm a half-bread between a Danish father and a German mother. I grew up with both languages and cultures and master both of these to perfection. As you can tell from this text my English is very much on the same level. I am therefore be able to offer cross-translation services between English, Danish and German. I also posses a medium level of Spanish.

As of now I'm a Bachelor student of economics which I will finish the at the end of the coming winter.



Professional experience:

I have worked three seasons as a guide in the Canal Tours of Copenhagen, guiding in Danish, English, German and Spanish. Working with different languages comes natural to me. I also have previous professional experience in translation. Last year I was hired by the start-up company Level to translate promotional material from English to German. It was a medium size project and an interesting entry to the profession. Both parties were happy with the process and the result. I'm happy to forward this project to you if you please.

Furthermore I’m currently employed as a Research Assistant in the Rockwool Foundation’s Research Unit where one of my responsibilities is proofreading of academic articles.



Since I am a newcomer I am willing to work for a competitive starting salary to get my foot into the industry.
