Throughout my academic life I have gained many skills that have shaped my performance and efficiency in a working environment. I am very focused with my goals and projects to ensure the success of them in whichever economic, political or social arena. The quality of my work ethic is based on my ability to effectively manage it by analysing the bigger picture and fitting it in with the stakeholders involved. I can identify issues and solve them based on experience and knowledge gained, but I also take time to inform myself on sensitive issues to tackle them to the best of my capacity. I enjoy informing myself on a variety of academic fields as I feel it brings a wealth of transferable skills or ideas to implement in various aspects of my day to day to provide a better service. My language skills have given me ease in communicating with others, but also a base understanding of their history/culture. My experiences in working abroad have shaped me to adapt easily to different working regulations and the importance of communication when there are language barriers. Such as the entrepreneurial project in Tanzania which required meticulous planning with few resources as exporting heavy materials would have been costly, so we made do with what we could acquire in the rural village we were based. I was also chosen to be part of the LSE 1989 Initiative programme in the economics roundtable, which gathers experts from different fields of study to identify weaknesses within the EU markets, and come up with policy proposals which are then sent to Brussels for consideration. I have worked small roles during my academic life and have shown to be reliable and able to use my problem-solving skills in every day to day task.
