Anna Sofia Lavanti , København, Denmark

Having first earned my Bachelor of Architecture, Technology and Construction Management from Copenhagen School of Design and Technology, I graduated from the University of Edinburgh School of Architecture and Landscape Architecture in 2019 with an MSc in Advanced Sustainable Design (Architecture).

I have gained a great amount of experience in my 5 years working as an architect post-studies. Having worked on successful larger scale projects and competitions at Schauman & Nordgren Architects I since decided to continue my career working with residential projects, with my first commission single family home built in Copenhagen in 2018. Most recently I have been working as an architect and sustainability lead at Asumma, designing high-quality wooden houses and leading the R&D of our designs with regards to health, energy efficiency and thermal comfort. I am also currently working as an architectural consultant for the architectural software company, Cetopo.

I am originally from Finland but I have spent most of my formative years and early adulthood living abroad. I have relocated back to Finland in 2021 and currently reside in between Helsinki and Copenhagen. In addition to architecture, I enjoy long distance running and various sports and activities with my dog.
