Kwame is keen and curious about new tasks. When involved in a
project, he always takes responsibility for any tasks given.
This summer Kwame was involved in a big games project, where he
more or less single-handedly took on major tasks in developing both
specific Unity code and actual embedded tasks, like setting up UDP/TCP
communication protocols for a particular handheld device. The project
meant that he needed to cancel his vacation and work throughout the
whole summer, along with the team, in order to meet deadlines set up
by the customer.
Later this autumn, he took on another major task creating an app for
Allview carport. It is an AR-based sales configurator where customers
can configure and visualise how a carport would look on their own
property and then later place an order. He showed great responsibility
for the task and delivered it on time.
In his spare time, Kwame enjoys going to the gym, gaming, and
watching films.

Description: Creating an app for Greenland’s education system, in order to help the students learn more about their surroundings and nature.
Kwame developed this iPad-based application in Unity Studios, used .NET framework for coding and Unity editor for implementing the 3D objects in the scene. He also set up the architecture of the app, breaking down tasks into tasks for frontend, backend and Unity. Throughout the project, Kwame used an excel sheet as a backend service for finding objects to visualise and collaborated with the 3D team to implement the finished 3D models and 3D universe. Kwame was also managing the development team for this project. All of the building and configuration for the app was done via Xcode (Apple SDK).

The call-to-actions that launched a phone call, opened the mail app and opened websites were implemented using C# and Unity. All of the building and configuration for the iOS app was done via Xcode (Apple SDK). The app has now been published on Google Play and App Store.

Unity-based Salestool and Web-based Augmented Reality

Description: Visualising Nordic Houseware Group’s products via a salestool, as well as implementing web- based AR functionalities for their products, directly on their website.
For the Salestool, Kwame was integral in planning and creating the architecture for the Unity application. He used Unity and Visual Studio to build the basic features and functionality, and Unity and C# to create JSON files that store information about the products. All information was stored on a server which communicated with the project on Unity. The app also generated PDFs with a list of all products - this was built using features in Visual Studio (NuGet).
For the Web-AR project, Kwame set up the server to match the project’s requirements and manually edited the USDZ and GLTF formats to ensure that they worked as intended on the browser.
