Four separately funded contracts were carried out over a period of many years. Two contracts
involved developing the UK government's HSE Management Standards work-related stress
program. The Management Standards represent a set of conditions that reflect high levels of health, well-being and organisational performance. Main duty is to design the measurement
instrument (Indicator Tool) used to identify hazards in the workplace which is part of the Management Standards process. Data from 137 private and public sector organisations was
analysed to produce a set of benchmarks for employers to use to test for employee stress. The
overall aim is to test the psychometric properties of the Indicator Tool. Peer-review articles
have been published based on this study (see RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS below). The
third contract involves performing statistical analysis using data from the Crime Survey of England & Wales (CSEW) to explore Work-Related Violence.

Teaching MSc Psychological Research Methods and lecturing was also conducted as part of the job. Independently, I also generated additional consultancy work by encouraging
organisations to buy QoWL survey services.
