’m Ant, an Independent freelance Design Director, former GB youth swimmer and once hand model for TV long before my first tattoo. My focus and specialism lies in user experience, interface and visual design with craft being paramount to my work. Originally from the North West of England now residing by the sea on the Essex coast I currently work for clients both remotely and in London studios. I love creating rich innovative interactive user experiences with real purpose for brands such as Warner Bros, J.K. Rowling, Brewdog, Beats by Dre, Google, Shazam, BBC, RANKIN, Volkswagen, Samsung, Tottenham Hotspur, Harley Davidson & Channel four. I’ve won a few awards along the way including Webby’s, BIMAS, facebook for good and the FWA.

Most recently I was the visual product design lead at Warner Bros entertainment working across a major franchise which consisted of a multitude of platform fan experiences including a Global web platform, Official app, AR experience, Premium membership service and a global e-commerce offering.

My background is firmly rooted in traditional visual design after studying both a Diploma in Design & Fine Art and a degree in Graphic Design & Visual Communication in the early noughties. I have over ten years of commercial experience and have had the pleasure of working with some of the world’s biggest brands as a design director, UI and product designer. Working within design studios, global digital network agencies, startups and multinational corps across multiple sectors including FMCG, fintech, luxury, fashion, sport, automotive & brand entertainment. Career highlights have included being part of the London 2012 Olympics design team, designing early editorial features at RANKIN & Dazed in the mid noughties and working for R/GA during their frequent ‘Agency of the year’ periods.
