Problem description:
We are a customer service platform and have export APIs to fetch conversation information into your own analytics tools and data warehouse. A lot of our customers are using PowerBI to visualise data. Unfortunately, the data we offer comes from multiple endpoints. Since PowerBI doesn't store data in a database, This can be cumbersome. Furthermore, to get all the data, from the first endpoint we'd need to fetch a list of IDs, and for each ID the second endpoint needs to be called.
Success criteria:
We need someone to set up a PowerBI environment which fetches information from multiple (2) API sources (based on information from the other API source) and combine that data so our customers can visualise it.
Preferably, that data needs to be stored into a (local) database so our customers don't have to fetch large sets of historical data every time they need to run a report.
Our API endpoints allows to filter on date (required fields) so PowerBI should be able to handle this.
In order to be self-serving, we need a guide on how to do this / set this up yourself.
